Welcome to Legend mode

Legend mode is Futbolero's longest and deepest career: a whole life in football. You start as a kid in your neighbourhood and the story carries on to your heir.

What makes it different

• Matches are played for real. 11-a-side in a 3D stadium. Press «Play myself» to control your player with keyboard and mouse or a controller, or let the AI play it and watch it live.
• Your people remember you. Every teammate, rival and relative has an opinion of you, their own traits and ambitions. Winning over the dressing room (or not) shows on the pitch.
• Every answer changes your story. Futbolero's classic questions, now with consequences that arrive years later.
• Off the pitch counts too. Your week in the city, your businesses, your relics, your children… and, if you go far, your own club.

The October 17 beta

On October 17 we opened a Legend mode beta in the Steam playtest: you started at 16, played two seasons and tried the 11-a-side matches with «Play myself». Thanks to everyone who played it and told us what they thought: many of the improvements on the way come from there.
